Integrated Report 2021 11 6 CAPITALS Capitals Natural Capital Explanation We have more than 10 service centres all over Malaysia and overseas to support our Operations and Maintenance ("O&M") services and Engineering, Procurement, Construction & Commissioning (“EPCC”) projects to the oil and gas, utility and renewable energy industry. We also have our own in-house educational training centres that embedded robotics to support both of human and intellectual capitals demand and from existing and emerging marketplace needs. The availability and operations of our own state-of-art facilities of the Group including the Smart Maintenance System, Artificial Intelligence, Digital Innovation and embarking to IR 4.0 will sustain our business operations moving forward. Manufactured Capital We are building, developing and applying core competencies and relevant/suitablemarket best practices for our staff to enable us to deliver value added products and services to achieve our strategic vision and mission, goals and objectives. We provide scholarships and training courses to suitable selected candidates, including children of staff, to prepare and plan our future human capital needs as the Company grows both locally and internationally. We also encourage and practise a diverse ethnicity workplace as we believe this will provide the Company with different perspectives to reflect our ‘Think Globally, Act Locally’ tagline as a public listed company with both local and international business operations. As at 30 June 2021, we had a total of 2,244 employees comprising experiencedprofessionals, managers, technical and support staff to drive our Group of Companies forward to face business challenges and emerging market trends. We also run our own Serba Academy and University Malaysia of Computer Science & Engineering (“UNIMY”) to train and sustain our own human capital needs in general. Our priority remains to ensure safe and conducive work environment with zero accidents in our workplace across all our business operations. In the financial period ended 2021, we achieved our 51.2 million cumulative total safe man-hours without any Lost Time Injury (“LTI”). Nonetheless, we have been monitoring, recording and managing our HSE scorecard since 1993. We also practise proactive corrective and preventive anti-work harassment policy in our Company at all times. Human Capital We are actively developing two renewable energy sources which are biogas and hydropower. In the financial period ended 2021, we have invested up to RM1 million in waste management facilities, RM35 million in water and sanitation assets, and RM46 million in renewable energy. Following to this, we also actively engaged with local government bodies in educating the public about the importance of environmental protection. All of the projects are still in the development phase and are projected to be completed in 2022.
