(a) The hire purchase payables of the Group and of the Company are secured by the Group and
the Company’s motor vehicles.
(b) The hire purchase payables of the Group and of the Company at the end of the financial year/
period bore effective interest rates ranging from 4.53% to 4.75% (2015 - 4.53%) per annum and
4.53% (2015 - 4.53%) per annum respectively. The interest rates are fixed at the inception of the
hire purchase arrangements.
