Section 2 | Our Business 30 8-10 Courtesy visit from LIWA Investment Holdings Dato’ Dr. Ir. Ts. Mohd Abdul Karim bin Abdullah, Group Managing Director of Serba Dinamik Holdings Berhad welcomed HE. Eng. Salah Salem Omair Al Shamsi, Chairman of LIWA Investment Holdings and his team to Menara Serba Dinamik for a three (3) days visit from 8-10 January 2020. Dato’ Abdul Karim presented a brief overview of the company’s projects and conducted a site visit to the Bintulu Integrated Energy Hub project in Bintulu, Sarawak. He also gave a briefing on the progress of project development at the Pengerang Eco-Industrial Park (“PeIP”) and Pengerang International Commercial Centre (“PICC”) at the project’s Sales Gallery showroom in Bangsar, Kuala Lumpur. KPLB Exhibition : Serba Dinamik’s session with YAB Tun Dr. Mahathir Mohamad, former Prime Minister of Malaysia Serba Dinamik participated in the “Majlis Ramah Mesra Yang Amat Berhormat (“YAB“) Tun Dr. Mahathir Mohamad, Perdana Menteri Malaysia Bersama Rakan Strategik” organised by the Ministry of Rural Development (“KPLB”) on 30 January 2020 at the Putrajaya International Convention Centre (“PICC”). The event was to honour the contribution of KPLB’s strategic partners while supporting initiatives between the Government and the corporate sector in developing rural areas. Serba Dinamik featured its Corporate Social Responsibility (“CSR”) projects that has contributed to the development of rural areas which drew the attention of the then Minister of Rural Development Datuk Seri Rina Mohd Harun. JAN 2020 25 28 Jan-11 Feb Let’s Ngopi Sharing Session by StudioX and Startup Borneo (Part 1 & 2) The Let’s Ngopi Sharing Session held at D-Virtual Park, Kota Samarahan was aimed to share expectations, goals and visions of bringing the IR 4.0 technology development into the community and future talents. Among invited guests were CEO of Teraju, Md Silmi Abd Rahman and Chief Scientist from Sarawak Multimedia Authority (“SMA”) Prof. Ir. Dr. Al-Khalid Othman. 9-11 Serba Dinamik Group acquired the entire business of UNIMY campus in Cyberjaya Serba Dinamik Group Berhad (“SDGB”) inked a conditional Share Sale Agreement (“SSA”) with Prestariang Berhad (Prestariang) to acquire the entire business of University Malaysia of Computer Science & Engineering (“UNIMY”) for RM2.5 million. Representing Prestariang at the signing ceremony were its President and Group CEO, Dr Abu Hasan Ismail and its Chief Operating Officer, Baldesh Singh. SDGB were represented at the event by its Group Managing Director and CEO, Dato’ Dr. Ir. Ts. Mohd Abdul Karim bin Abdullah and the Group’s Vice President of Education & Training, Dr. Ts. Zulkarnain bin Kedah. The Chairman of the UNIMY’s Board of Governors, Professor Emeritus Dr. Hassan Said, witnessed the event. FEB 2 Serba Dinamik’s Analysts Briefing 2020 (Quarter 1) Group CEO of Serba Dinamik Holdings, Dato’ Dr. Ir. Ts. Mohd. Karim bin Abdullah presented the Company’s results for FYE 2019 to fund managers, analysts and investors. Also present during the briefing were the Group Chief Financial Officer of Serba Dinamik, Syed Nazim Bin Syed Faisal, and senior management of the Company. Serba Dinamik chalked up a 39.1% jump in its revenue for its 4Q FY2019 ended 31 December 2019 to RM1.36 billion from RM978.0 million in the corresponding quarter of 31 December 2018. Serba Dinamik as Gold Sponsor for SPE Malaysia Oil & Gas Convention (“SMOGC”) @ UiTM Shah Alam Serba Dinamik participated in the SPE Student Chapter Malaysia Oil and Gas Convention (“SMOGC”) at UiTM Shah Alam which aimed to revitalise young minds by creating awareness towards global environmental sustainability in the oil and gas industry (“O&G”) and development of human capital. The event was held from 9-11 March 2020 in collaboration with five other local and international universities from Indonesia, India, Brunei, United Kingdom and Vietnam.
