Integrated Report 2021 181 SUSTAINABILITY FRAMEWORK SUSTAINABILITY GOVERNANCE For effective implementation of sustainability initiatives in our business, we believe that sustainability strategies and thrust must be driven by the top-most tiers of management and cascaded down to the rest of the company for execution. Our sustainability agenda is led by our Board of Directors (“Board”) which oversees all sustainability-relatedmatters and ensures that we remain a responsible corporate citizen while pursuing our commercial objectives. The Board is supported by the Senior Management, which is led by the Group MD/CEO. The Senior Management’s role is to look after the proper implementation of our sustainability efforts within the Group. A designated member of the Board undertakes the role of supervising the Senior Management on the sustainability-related matters. The implementation andmanagement of our sustainability efforts is executed by the sustainability working group, which also provides updates and recommendations to the Board and the Group MD/CEO in respect to the Group’s sustainability performance. The sustainability working group is chaired by the Group Chief Financial Officer and is supported by the heads of business units including Operation & Maintenance (“O&M”), Engineering, Procurement, Construction & Commissioning (“EPCC”), Information and Communication Technology (“ICT”) and Education & Training (“E&T”), as well as heads of departments including Human Capital and General Affairs, and Corporate Communications.
