Ng Kian Chai

Managing Director
Ng Kian Chai, a Malaysian, age 73. Ng Kian Chai was appointed as the Managing Director of Cheeding Holdings Berhad on 11 September 2024. He is responsible for developing the overall corporate strategy of the Group and implementing business strategies to grow the Group's business.

With over 42 years of hands-on experience in the construction and utilities engineering industry, Ng Kian Chai brings a wealth of practical expertise spanning the full spectrum of infrastructure works. He commenced his career in 1976 providing handyman and carpentry services for schools, hospitals and residential customers, and subsequently progressed to general labour services for transmission tower foundation works from 1982 to 1989.

In 1990, he founded Ng Brothers Engineering Construction, a sole proprietorship involved in the provision of subcontracting services for transmission tower foundation works, where he was responsible for overseeing daily operations and securing new projects. Ng Brothers Engineering Construction has been dormant since 2015 and will not carry on any business activities in the future.

In December 1996, he was appointed as Director of Pembinaan Bukit Cheeding Sdn Bhd (PBCSB), a wholly owned subsidiary of the Company, and subsequently became a shareholder in 1997. As Director, he spearheaded PBCSB's transformation from a civil engineering subcontractor into a specialist utilities engineering contractor. Under his leadership, PBCSB evolved into a registered supplier and service contractor with Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB) for the provision of end to end engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning and maintenance solutions (EPCC) for overhead power infrastructure, EPCC of underground power infrastructure as well as substation engineering services across Peninsular Malaysia. He continues to serve as Managing Director of the Company to-date.

Ng Kian Chai is the spouse of Tan Sook Hoi, a substantial shareholder of the Company. He is also the father of Ng Chai Hsia, the Executive Director of the Company, Ng Lam Shein, the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of the Group, and Ng Lam Tiong, the Project Director of the Group.

He attended all four (4) Board meetings held during the financial year ended 31 March 2026.

Ng Chai Hsia

Executive Director
Ng Chai Hsia, a Malaysian, age 44. Ng Chai Hsia was appointed as the Executive Director of Cheeding Holdings Berhad on 11 September 2024. She is responsible for overseeing the Group’s human resources and administrative functions, managing the Group’s assets and assisting the Managing Director in implementing business decisions.

She graduated with a Bachelor of Business from the University of Technology, Australia in 2006. Upon graduation, she joined the Group in 2006 as an Executive involved in the preparation of tenders. In 2010, her responsibilities were expanded to include overseeing the accounts and finance department, including tax matters. Prior to the appointment of the Group’s Chief Financial Officer (CFO) in 2024, she was in charge of the Group’s financial matters. Over the years, her responsibilities were further expanded to include overseeing the Group’s human resource and administrative affairs as well as managing the recruitment of foreign workers and liaising with the relevant authorities. In 2023, she was appointed as a Director of PBCSB. She continues to serve as Executive Director of the Company to-date.

Ng Chai Hsia is the daughter of Ng Kian Chai, the Managing Director and substantial shareholder of the Company, and Tan Sook Hoi, a substantial shareholder of the Company. She is also the sister of Ng Lam Shein, the COO of the Group, and Ng Lam Tiong, the Project Director of the Group.

She attended all four (4) Board meetings held during the financial year ended 31 March 2026.

Ng Lam Shein

Chief Operating Officer
Ng Lam Shein, a Malaysian, age 34, is our COO. He is responsible for overseeing our Group's utilities engineering services encompassing resource planning and management, site operations, as well as environmental, safety and health matters.

In 2014, he graduated with a Bachelor of Environments from the University of Melbourne, Australia. In 2016, he further pursued and obtained a Master of Engineering from the University of Melbourne, Australia. He has been registered as a Graduate Engineer (Civil) with the Board of Engineers Malaysia since 2017.

Upon graduation, he commenced his career at our Group in 2017, as a Project Engineer where he participated and began gaining exposure in infrastructure utilities engineering solutions projects undertaken by our Group. In 2019, he was promoted to Project Manager, where he was mainly responsible for developing project implementation plans as well as coordinating and overseeing the projects undertaken by our Group. In 2024, he was promoted to the position of COO, a position he continues to hold until to-date.

Ng Lam Tiong

Project Director
Ng Lam Tiong, a Malaysian, age 45, is our Project Director. He is responsible for the submission of tenders and is involved in the design, budgeting and costing of the projects undertaken by our Group.

In 2004, he graduated with a Bachelor of Accounting (Honours) from Universiti Tenaga Nasional.

Upon graduation, he commenced his career at our Group in 2004 as a Project Manager where he was involved in tender documentation preparation, overseeing projects' execution and management of site activities in relation to the infrastructure utilities engineering services projects undertaken by our Group.

In 2014, he acquired BC Services and was appointed as a Director of BC Services and is responsible for overseeing the company's day-to-day operations.

In 2024, he was promoted to the position of Project Director of our Group, a position he continues to hold until to-date.

Yap Hoong Yun

Chief Financial Officer
Yap Hoong Yun, a Malaysian, age 37, is our CFO. He is responsible for overseeing our Group's financial and risk management matters including financial reporting, taxation and internal control.

He graduated with a Bachelor of Accounting from the University of Malaya in 2012. He has been a Member of Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA) since 2024.

Upon graduation, he began his career in 2012 at Crowe Malaysia PLT as an Associate, Audit and Assurance, where he was involved in statutory audits, financial due diligence and reporting accountant roles for corporate exercises involving clients of the firm. During his tenure at the firm, he was promoted to the position of Senior Associate in 2014, Senior in 2015, Assistant Manager in 2018, Manager in 2019 and Senior Manager in 2021.

In 2024, he left Crowe Malaysia PLT and joined our Group as CFO, a position he continues to hold until to-date.
