REGULATORY COMPLIANCE It is an absolute priority for the Group that it always adheres to all prevailing laws and regulations in all the jurisdictions in which it operates. Zetrix AI’s company-wide approach to addressing non-compliance is firstly ensuring that the Group stays on top of policies and regulations to ensure compliance and avoid penalties, lawsuits and protect its reputation. Thus, the Group adheres to all prevailing laws and regulations of the countries in which it operates in, such as the Companies Act 2016 in Malaysia, and stays abreast of changing laws and regulatory trends. Zetrix AI also performs regular risk assessments and internal audits across the Group’s departments to assess their adequacy, control and compliance with its policies and procedures. In the event of any non-compliance discovered, either an internal auditor or an appointed third-party investigator will subsequently follow up on the identified noncompliance for investigation. All of these measures come under the oversight of the Board and its related committees. In the event of a non-compliance incident, a thorough audit will be one of the main procedures undertaken in order to investigate and follow up with the non-compliance incident, which will be then reported to Senior Management for deliberation on the suitable corrective measures to be taken.
