SUSTAINABILITY STATEMENT MATERIALITY MATTERS (cont’d) SUSTAINABILITY STATEMENT RENEWABLE ENERGY Zetrix AI understands the potential renewable energy possesses in contributing towards the fight against climate change. By using renewable energy, it reduces the need for fossil fuels to be burned and released into the atmosphere, which reduces climate-related impacts. The Group has already been looking into several areas to implement renewable energy initiatives: The possibility of using solar panels at its headquarters to develop renewable energy is being looked into. Electricity generated from this can be used by the Group’s computers and to also generate light in our offices. Use of EEV as substitutes for conventional motorcycles may also be considered going forward, if feasible. In developing a comprehensive approach to manage energy consumption, Zetrix AI is studying the feasibility of adopting an energy management system or energy efficiency standards suitable for its industry and business model. Zetrix AI’s approach to potentially adopting renewable energy in the future will be consistent to further reduce our overall carbon emissions and embed sustainability throughout the organisation with education and awareness efforts among employees being strengthened through more regular campaigns and briefings. Please refer to our full Statement of Commitment to Addressing Climate Change Risks and Impacts for more details, which can be read under the “Sustainability” subsection at https://www.zetrix.com/investor-relations/governance. MORE ENVIRONMENTAL FOOTPRINT MANAGEMENT INITIATIVES The Group has established an Environmental Policy, supported by a Waste Management and Recycling Statement, to provide a structured framework for managing and reducing its environmental impacts. These policies promote efficient resource utilisation, regulatory compliance, and the integration of environmentally responsible practices across the Group’s operations. The Policy helps display the Group’s commitment to managing environmental footprint and provides a better understanding of the Group’s approach to employees and relevant stakeholders. Our full Environmental Policy, together with Waste Management and Recycling Statement, can be downloaded at https://www.zetrix.com/investor-relations/governance. The policy is cascaded across our entire organisation, beginning at Zetrix Tower, to set best practice standards. These policy measures consist of: Switching off lights when not in use (during lunch hour and end of work day) Printing only when necessary Editing documents on computer before printing Printers set to print double-sided as default to save paper Shutting down computers and switching off appliances when not in use Encouraging reuse of products and packaging to prolong its useful life and delay disposal Encouraging the use of coffee mugs rather than single-use or disposable cups Unplugging machines at the end of work day Human rights, UN Guiding Ensuring 115
