Currently, the largest consumers of energy within the Group are its data centres. Zetrix AI has implemented various energy-efficient features in onpremises data centres, focusing on servers and cooling systems to reduce overall energy consumption. Given that electricity is the primary source of energy consumed by Zetrix AI, the Group is dedicated to reducing electricity consumption. Zetrix AI has undertaken a range of measures to drive energy efficiency across the value chain. This involves implementing energy-saving practices among staff, transitioning to LED-based lighting, and more, other than a more concerted effort to educate and encourage energy conservation among employees through internal training and awareness programmes. These efforts to raise awareness among employees also cover emission management, water use, waste management and other climate-related practices. To develop a comprehensive approach to managing energy consumption, Zetrix AI is exploring the feasibility of adopting an energy management system or energy efficiency standards suitable for its industry and business model. Other methods, such as green technology initiatives, corrective maintenance work and thorough monitoring, will be undertaken to improve electricity consumption for the Group moving forward. The Group has also made use of natural lighting and other energy-efficient methods to help avoid excess carbon being produced. 4,000 3,000 2,000 1,000 0 5,000 10,000 5000 0 15,000 FY2024 FY2023 FY2025 Total Energy Consumption (Gigajoules) FY2024 FY2023 FY2025 Total Energy Consumption (MWh) 15 10 5 0 20 FY2024 FY2023 FY2025 Total Energy Intensity (GJ/RM ‘million) 2,500,000.00 2,000,000.00 1,500,000.00 1,000,000.00 500,000.00 0 3,000,000.00 FY2024 FY2023 FY2025 Indirect Energy Consumption (Electricity) (kWh) 12,264.78 3,406.88 15.84 2,345,921.90 12,480.20 3,466.72 12.27 2,486,560.16 11,797.14 3,276.98 8.84 2,396,992.03 Our full Statement of Commitment to Addressing Climate Change Risks and Impacts has further details on Zetrix AI’s electricity consumption impacts and related initiatives, which can be read under the “Sustainability” subsection at https://www.zetrix.com/investor-relations/governance. 114
