Yinson Integrated Annual Report 2026

92 YINSON HOLDINGS BERHAD MANAGEMENT APPROACH Yinson Integrated HSSEQ Management System (“YMS”) covers our offshore and onshore employees and contractors. We also maintain oversight over our Tier 1 specialist contractors engaged in Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) activities. The system covers specific Operational Health and Safety (“OHS”) matters such as Occupational Health, OHS Professional Capability, Risk Management, Environmental Aspects and Impacts, Legal and Other Requirements, Incident Investigation, Continual Improvement, and HSSEQ Reporting Management of Change. It embeds protocols for identifying, analysing, evaluating and governing requirements aligned with industry standards. Our management system complies with the International Safety Management (ISM) Code, International Ship and Port Security (ISPS) Code and ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018 standards, along with national and regulatory requirements. These standards, along with our Health & Safety Policy, ensure consistent compliance and reinforce our commitment to protecting people and minimising environmental impacts. To ensure we are operating efficiently, we benchmark our performance using International Association of Oil & Gas Producers (“IOGP”) safety indicators. We continued exceeding IOGP benchmarks in FY2026, reflecting the strength of our systems. Hazard identification, risk assessment and incident investigation Yinson’s systematic and holistic approach to hazard identification and risk assessment is integrated within our YMS. This approach covers both routine and non-routine jobs, guided by the following principles: • Integrated management approach: Risk management is integrated within YMS and applied to all activities, processes, and decision-making. It is customised and proportionate to the needs of each level of the organisation, with due consideration to location, products, services, and internal and external context. This ensures alignment with strategic objectives, compliance obligations, and operational requirements. SUSTAINABILITY REVIEW Ensure secure working conditions and systems to safeguard human health and well-being in all operations. Risk assessments and reviews are conducted proactively to identify emerging hazards, improvement areas and mitigation measures by incorporating input from internal and external stakeholders. Continuous monitoring of KPIs and operational targets ensures alignment with organisational objectives, regulatory updates and emerging risks. This approach promotes transparent communication and accountability, resulting in tangible actions such as corrective measures, resource allocation, and policy refinements. • Ensuring quality and competence: Personnel involved in hazard identification and risk assessment are trained and certified in relevant safety standards and practices. Continuous professional development programmes and trainings are in place to maintain and enhance personnel skills. In addition, regular audits and reviews are conducted to verify the effectiveness of hazard identification and risk assessment processes. Feedback from these audits is used to make necessary improvements. • Analytics for continuous improvements: The results of hazard identification and risk assessment are systematically evaluated to continually improve our YMS. We leverage data collected from incident reports and risk assessments to identify trends and areas for improvement. Findings are used to update safety policies, procedures, and training programmes, ensuring that our YMS evolves to address emerging risks and enhance overall safety performance. Hazard reporting and safe withdrawal from work All employees, contractors and visitors are encouraged to report and halt any work-related hazards that pose a potential danger to the safety and health of any person or potential harm to the environment or property. This is in line with the HSSEQ Reporting Standard and Procedure and Yinson’s Stop Work Policy. Every stop work decision made in good faith will receive full management support. Comprehensive protections are in place to prevent reprisals for reporting hazards or stopping work due to safety concerns. These include management commitment, non-retaliation assurances, and confidentiality provisions. 9 10 11
