Yinson Integrated Annual Report 2026

99 INTEGRATED ANNUAL REPORT 2026 To achieve our CSR mission, we are committed to: • Corporate Philanthropy and Impact Investing: Creating shared value and lasting positive impacts in our communities and environment through philanthropy, partnership and impact investing. • Employee Participation: Encouraging employees to inspire future generations and care for the community and environment by actively participating in Yinson’s CSR projects or volunteering in their communities. Our CSR governance is anchored by the CSR Committee, which oversees the objectives and implementation of CSR initiatives across the Group. The committee meets every two months for project updates and strategic discussions under the oversight of the CSR Chairman. The Committee comprises representatives from key Yinson offices globally, ensuring our initiatives reflect local needs. We engage with communities through clear and accessible communication channels. Our corporate website provides updates on our activities, while dedicated email and telephone contacts allow stakeholders to submit enquiries, feedback, or grievances, ensuring reliable avenues for engagement and responsible CSR delivery. All Yinson employees are encouraged to propose, lead and participate in local CSR initiatives in collaboration with community organisations, NGOs and partners. To support this, employees are provided up to four days of volunteering time off annually. In 2026, Yinson expanded the grant by awarding RM150,000 to three beneficiaries, namely Youth Beyond Boundaries from UCSI University, Empowered Women Engineers Society from Taylor’s University, and The Planet Prodigy from Universiti Malaya. To strengthen Yinson’s impact measurement approach, we have piloted the application of Social Return on Investment (“SROI”) methodologies, guided by Social Value International. The results should be treated as indicative estimates subject to assumptions, data availability and the methodologies applied in valuing social outcomes. Due diligence Yinsonites are required to exercise discretion when proposing/evaluating CSR projects, considering economic, environmental, governance and social impacts as part of due diligence. All proposals are vetted by the CSR Committee to ensure projects are not used as a subterfuge for bribery or corruption, or to fund inappropriate activities, including governmental or political parties or campaigns. 2. Implementation When a CSR project receives final approval, the CSR Committee informs the requesting employee of the outcome, which provides the employee with the mandate to proceed with implementation. The CSR Committee monitors the progress of every project through quarterly reports submitted by the project manager. 3. Reporting A project manager is appointed when a CSR initiative is approved. The project manager is responsible for providing status updates to the CSR Committee until the completion of the project. The outcome of the project will be communicated as part of the project completion process.
