(R) KHAIRUDIN BIN DAHLAN Nomination and Remuneration Committee (Member) Lt. Col. (R) Khairudin bin Dahlan has over five decades of experience in military aviation, helicopter operations, flight training, and aviation safety management. His career reflects strong emphasis on operational safety, disciplined leadership, and national service, shaped by extensive service in both the Malaysian Armed Forces and the civil aviation sector. He served with the Royal Malaysian Air Force (RMAF) from 1970 to 1985, attaining the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. During his tenure, he held roles including Flying Instructor, Helicopter Examiner on NURI S61A4 aircraft, Staff Officer Training, Director of Training at the Air Staff Division (MINDEF), and Directing Staff (Air) at the Malaysian Armed Forces Staff College. Following his military service, he joined MHS Aviation Berhad (1985-2003), where he was involved in offshore helicopter operations for Shell Malaysia and served as Senior Training Captain attached to the Police Air Wing (PDRM). His responsibilities included type rating conversion training, instrument rating training and examination, role flying instruction, CRM facilitation, flight safety seminars, and advisory functions on air operations and training. He also served on deputation to the Indian Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) as Type Rating and Instrument Rating Examiner. From 2003 to 2011, he was Director of Operations at Integrated Training & Services Group, overseeing training and operations for a fleet of rotary and fixed-wing aircraft. He was responsible for operational management, training standards for local and international students, and aircraft logistical planning. He also served as Instructor and Examiner at the Integrated Aviation Academy and as a CRM Facilitator for the Royal Malaysian Air Force and Royal Malaysian Police. Since 2011, he has continued his involvement in the aviation industry in advisory and operational roles, including as Accountable Manager and Chief Pilot Training at Cempaka Helicopter Corporation, Technical Advisor/Pilot at Sapura Hexasonic, and Flight Operations Manager at Hevilift (M) Sdn Bhd. He holds a Master of Science in Defence and Strategic Studies from University of Madras and an Airline Transport Pilot Licence (Helicopter) with Instrument Rating. He is a Qualified Helicopter Instructor (UK), a Malaysian and Indian Authorised Examiner for Instrument Rating, and a certified Crew Resource Management (CRM) and Safety Management System facilitator. His awards and honours include AMN, PIS II (Johor), and Pingat Jasa Malaysia (PJM). He does not hold any directorship in other public companies and listed companies.
