OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH Why It Matters Occupational safety and health are a critical priority in our business and integral to our sustainable growth. Aligned with ISO 45001 standard and local regulations, our Occupational Safety and Health (“OSH”) policies span all operational scenarios, establishing closed-loop processes from risk assessment and safety training to emergency response. By continuously refining practices, empowering employees, and collaborating with partners, we embed health and safety into every facet of operations and safeguard lives. Management Structure and Policies The Group is committed to maintaining a safe and healthy workplace through structured policies, rigorous monitoring, and continuous improvement of our safety, health, and environmental (“SHE”/ “HSE”) management practices across all business operations. The Group has maintained ISO 45001:2018 – Occupational Health and Safety Management System certification for both KLSB and SPC to ensure effective occupational health and safety management systems through a structured framework for hazard identification, risk assessment, and workplace safety management. All project sites and factories of KLSB & SPC is covered by ISO 45001:2018. We continually strive to improve the performance of our OSH management system, in compliance with the Occupational Safety and Health Act (Amendment 2022). The OSH performance is oversight by Board to manage health and safety risk. Accident cases will be reported and discussed during Board meeting. The Group has established Occupational Safety and Health (“OSH”) Committees to provide oversight of safety and health matters across our operations. These committees are responsible for enforcing safety policies, recommending continuous improvements, and fostering effective communication between management and employees at all levels. Regular meetings are convened to monitor safety performance, review incidents and near-misses, and ensure timely implementation of corrective and preventive actions. The OSH Committees play a vital roles and responsibilities in maintaining workplace safety, include: • Identifying and assessing potential workplace hazards, summarized in a risk assessment report. • Formulating emergency response plans. • Recommending enhancements to safety practices and protection equipment when necessary. • Conducting induction training for contractors entering project sites. • Holding periodic toolbox briefings to reinforce safety procedures and PPE compliance. • Performing workplace audits to ensure compliance, recording non-conformances, and following up on corrective actions. Our Approach Risk Assessment We adopt a structured risk management approach to occupational safety and health. Hazards and risks are systematically identified, assessed, and mitigated through established controls. Our safety and health policies are embedded within the Group’s standard operating procedures, ensuring compliance and consistency across operations.
