Sustainable Finance Training Programmes To equip our staff, particularly relationship managers and banking leaders, with the expertise and knowledge to guide and advise our clients on sustainable finance opportunities. We initiated programmes in collaboration with Asian Banking School (ABS) to cultivate expertise and awareness in sustainable finance and climate risk within our workforce. These initiatives, such as Sustainable Finance for Relationship Managers Level 1, Introduction to Sustainability & Climate Risk, and Sustainable Finance Guide for Institutional Banking Leaders, were designed to equip our employees with the essential knowledge and skills needed to align our operations with global sustainability goals and regulatory standards. This proactive approach underscores our commitment to driving innovation and leadership in the financial sector by nurturing a culture of sustainability and responsible banking practices. Objective: What We Did: Progress and Achievements: Sustainable Finance for Relationship Managers Level 1 Trained 16 relationship managers through the programme focusing on sustainable finance and climate change impacts Introduction to Sustainability & Climate Risk Conducted five sessions reaching 131 participants from various departments, broadening awareness of sustainability and climate risks. Sustainable Finance Guide for Institutional Banking Leaders Held a specialised programme for 10 banking leaders, concentrating on sustainable finance principles aligned with global commitments. Secondment Programme with Arabesque Singapore To provide our employees with a hands-on learning experience and further deepen their expertise in specific areas such as data analytics. We implemented a 3-month secondment programme with Arabesque Singapore to enhance our employees' data analytics skills. This immersive initiative offered hands-on training and participation in real-world projects, resulting in a substantial enhancement of their practical expertise in the field. Our staff member from the Data Centre of Excellence (CoE) completed a 3-month secondment where they worked with the team at Arabesque on Big Data Analytics and Artificial Intelligence (AI), strengthening their capabilities across multiple disciplines in data analytics.
