3. Overall Performance In 2023, we have reinforced our commitment to employee development and gender-inclusive advancement. We have increased our training investment to RM3,295 per employee, illustrating our dedication to nurturing our workforce's capabilities. This investment is reflected in the substantial total training hours, which reached 291,931 for the year. Notably, we have seen an appreciable rise in the average training hours to 60 per employee, highlighting our intensified efforts in personal and professional staff development. Furthermore, we have rolled out 345 upskilling programmes in multiple and diverse topics and areas of discipline to cater to the need of the various roles within the Bank, demonstrating our focus on continuous learning and adaptability in an ever-evolving industry landscape. Promotional opportunities have also seen a positive trend, with 495 employees being promoted, indicating our focus on career progression and recognition of talent. Underpinning our commitment to diversity and inclusion, we have maintained a balanced promotion strategy with 232 female employees and 263 male employees advancing in 2023. This showcases our commitment to creating an equitable work environment where all employees have the opportunity to grow and succeed.
