Ir. Tai Jiunn Hong has more than 24 years of working experience in the industry of civil, structural, geotechnical engineering and property development. He began his career with Tonkin & Taylors Malaysia as a Structural and Geotechnical Engineer in 2001. He was involved in the Perbadanan Putrajaya Complex and the iconic Arch Structure, Putrajaya Boat House, Bank Negara Financial Services Resource Center (FSRC) as well as mega infrastructure project, the KL Monorail.

He obtained his Masters of Business Administration with major in Finance and Strategic Management in 2005 and subsequently moved into property development. He joined CP Landmark Sdn Bhd in 2005 and was involved in the redevelopment of the mixed development of Queensbay, Penang. During his tenure with CP Landmark Sdn Bhd, he was leading the development planning, construction and tenancy of the longest mall in Penang, Queensbay Mall, alongside with the development and construction of Eastin Hotel Penang, landed residentials and condominiums.

In year 2008, he joined Bandar Raya Development Berhad (“BRDB”) and with the company for more than 6 years as an Assistant General Manager. One of his first role in BRDB was the redevelopment of boutique premium malls namely, Bangsar Shopping Center (BSC), of which he was leading the development, tenants mix planning and construction of the live mall aside with the development of BRDB Tower adjoining BSC. Subsequently, he was in charged for the development of the renowned high-end condominium, Serai at Bukit Bandaraya and few more high-end mixed and integrated development locally and overseas.

Within GBG Group, he is actively involved in Planning, Business Development, Corporate Finance, Investment and Investor Relations. He works closely with the GBG Group’s CEO, Managing Directors of Construction and Property Development divisions, as well as the Finance Department. His responsibilities include assessing potential ventures, co-leading fundraising activities, financial management, formalising business plans, managing investor relations, and overseeing the development of the GBG Group’s corporate communications strategies.

He commenced his career in June 2002 with Ahmad Zaki Sdn Bhd as an Assistant Quantity Surveyor, where he was entrusted with contract administration, progress payment recommendations, and variation order management. He played a pivotal role in establishing and managing Loss and/or Expense claims across multiple projects.

In 2005, he was seconded to Ahmad Zaki Saudi Arabia Ltd in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, where he served until 2009. During this period, he was responsible for contract administration, procurement, and daily project operations across various high-profile developments, ensuring construction costs were managed within budget. His portfolio included significant landmark projects such as the Alfaisal University Project in Riyadh, King Abdullah University in Jeddah, and Jabal Omar in Mecca. He further strengthened his experience in high end residential developments in year 2013 by joining Perdana Park City, the developer for award winning-township Desa ParkCity, KL. In 2000, he joined Ahmad Zaki Sdn Bhd which begin with hospital project and procurement for M&E work and medical equipment. He then joined MRCB in 2009 as a Senior Manager, M&E overseeing the delivery of project implementation and procurement for KL Sentral jobs.

In 2013, he returned to Ahmad Zaki Sdn Bhd as General Manager, M&E where he had successfully set-up the M&E Department in the Company and leading all M&E team at all projects for the work of planning, procurement and work implementation.

Ir. Khoo Teck Thye has more than 21 years of experience in the construction industry. He began his career with Koh Brothers Building & Civil Engineering Constructor in Singapore in 1994, as a Project Engineer in charge of the design and build of 6 Blocks of 24-storey Residential Blocks with Multi-Storey Carpark. After completing the project in year 1997, he joined United Engineer of Malaysia (UEM) as a Senior Engineer and took charge of the infrastructure work in Nusajaya, Gelang Patah, and Design & Build of 250 Beds of Hospital in Lahad Datu, Sabah.

He joined Tung Hup Group (TH Group) construction division as a Project Manager in 1999 and was advanced to the role of Head of Operation while overseeing multiple projects across Malaysia including East Malaysia, Sabah. Before joining Gabungan Strategik Sdn Bhd (“GSSB”) as Operation Manager in the MRT Package V1 project from 2013 to 2016, he was with Dolomite Engineering Sdn Bhd as Assistant General Manager and then promoted to General Manager heading the construction division played a key role in business development and client relationship management from year 2009 to 2013.

Thereafter, he joined Sunway Construction Sdn Bhd in 2017 and served as Assistant General Manager and, then, rejoined GSSB in 2022 as a Senior Project Director in charge of Package GS04 of the Light Rail Transit 3 (LRT3) project, whose responsibilities included cross-functional teams to streamline project timelines and optimise resource allocation.
