In response, Zetrix AI actively competes for high-calibre talent and places strong emphasis on investing in employee development. The Group motivates its workforce through performance-based incentives, recognising and rewarding outstanding contributions. Zetrix AI implements initiatives yearly to foster the growth and development of talent within the Group. These initiatives encompass targeted internships and leadership training courses, such as the ‘Transformation into an Effective Leader’ programme, designed for both top and middle management. The Group’s labour standards are also kept to a high level through various briefings, internal and external training and on-the-job training. Our recruitment approach is two-pronged: • Seeking to attract young individuals with industry-relevant experience. • Recruiting young talent from the nation’s vast undergraduate pool through our internship programmes, which provide an avenue for successful candidates to join our workforce full-time. Zetrix AI also pursues key programmes to substantially bolster efforts in internships, youth employment initiatives and graduate placements at the Group. These programmes are: Malaysia Short-Term Employment Programme (“MySTEP”) Professional Training and Education for Growing Entrepreneurs (“PROTÉGÉ”) MySTEP is a Malaysian government initiative targeting short-term (contract) employment opportunities in various ministries, government agencies and government-linked companies, as the government aims to create more employment opportunities and provide work experience to the younger generation of workers in Malaysia to increase their marketability. Trainees who completed the programme and who were deemed qualified became permanent team members upon completion of the training period. Zetrix AI plans to continue participating in MySTEP from year to year, while increasing the number of participants. PROTÉGÉ is an entrepreneurial training and marketplace training programme aimed at cultivating youth potential, in collaboration with industry experts. This would ideally contribute to creating more competitive and prepared job market participants as well as skilled job seekers to meet current industry needs. Employee performance appraisals are also conducted on an annual basis using a new and improved e-Appraisal system. Findings from appraisals are used as the basis to measure employees’ performance and contributions against the underlying expectations, as well as to determine career development paths, promotions, and remuneration adjustments, among others. In addition, the Group also has an internal employee rewards programme that recognises and appreciates excellence and individual performance called The Abdullah Ahmad Awards. 120
