As such, our exposure to biodiversity-related risks is relatively limited. Nonetheless, we recognise that indirect effects from our operations, such as emissions, waste, and resource consumption, may contribute to broader environmental pressures if left unmanaged; this awareness informs our day-to-day operational practices. Through our environmental management practices, we aim to minimise any indirect impacts our activities may have on surrounding ecosystems and natural habitats. In FY2026, NexG commenced tracking of air emissions at the PJ223 and Meru sites. All tests were conducted using globally recognised and standardised scientific methodologies, including protocols from the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (“NIOSH”), Malaysian Standards (“MS”), and British Standards (“BS”). Collectively, the Group’s air emissions remain significantly below the prescribed national limits, achieving full compliance with the Malaysian Environmental Quality (Clean Air) Regulations 2014.
