54 SECTION 04 : CORPORATE GOVERNANCE WATER MANAGEMENT Why is it important Water is important to ENRA’s operations and project activities, particularly for construction, cleaning, maintenance and workshop-related activities. As the Group primarily relies on municipal water supply, disruptions in water availability may affect operational continuity and project execution. Responsible water management also helps reduce wastage, manage operating costs and minimise potential environmental impacts arising from operational and site activities. Our Approach The Group is committed to managing water responsibly and supporting efficient water use across its operations and project activities. Water-related impacts and dependencies may arise from project site activities, runoff and drainage management, wastewater handling, and the operational need for reliable water supply across relevant facilities and activities. Water Risk and Operational Considerations • Water-related considerations, including adequacy of supply, drainage conditions and operational requirements, are considered during project planning and operational activities, where relevant. Runoff and Drainage Management • Drainage systems, silt traps and sedimentation controls are implemented across applicable development and earthwork activities to manage runoff and minimise off-site impacts. Wastewater and Effluent Management • Wastewater and effluent arising from relevant operational and workshop activities are managed in accordance with applicable regulatory and operational requirements, where applicable. Monitoring and Compliance • Water-related non-compliance matters or operational issues identified are addressed through corrective actions, where appropriate. Our Performance Water Withdrawal by Source The Group’s water consumption is derived entirely from municipal potable water supply. No groundwater, surface water, harvested rainwater, seawater or external wastewater sources were utilised during the reporting period.
