42 SECTION 04 : CORPORATE GOVERNANCE Human rights and labour-related matters are managed through employment practices, contractor oversight and compliance monitoring processes, where relevant, including across contractor and site-based activities. Key labour and workforce practices implemented across the Group’s operations and applicable contractor or thirdparty arrangements are summarised below: Policy Area Details Non-Discrimination and Equal Opportunity • The Group does not tolerate discrimination based on race, religion, gender, age, nationality, disability or other unlawful grounds. • Employment and workforce-related decisions are based on merit, qualifications and operational requirements. Forced Labour, Child Labour and Recruitment Practices • Forced labour, child labour and other unlawful labour practices are prohibited. • Inappropriate recruitment fees, debt bondage and the unlawful withholding of passports or identity documents are also prohibited. • These expectations apply where foreign workers, manning agencies or labour providers are engaged. Working Hours, Welfare and Fair Labour Practices • The Group complies with applicable laws relating to wages, working hours, overtime, rest periods and employee welfare requirements. • Labour-related risks may also be managed through a risk-based approach involving contractor engagement and operational oversight, where applicable. Workplace Conduct and Grievance Reporting • Bullying, harassment, intimidation and workplace misconduct are not tolerated. • Employees and relevant personnel may raise concerns through available grievance, whistleblowing or management reporting channels. Contractor and ThirdParty Workforce Oversight • Labour and human rights-related expectations may be communicated to contractors, subcontractors, manning agencies and service providers, where applicable. • This is particularly relevant where foreign, temporary or project-based workers are engaged in project and operational activities Grievance and Whistleblowing Mechanisms The Group maintains grievance and reporting channels that enable employees, contract workers and external parties, including subcontractors and suppliers, to raise concerns relating to labour standards, human rights or workplace conduct. These channels facilitate confidential and anonymous reporting, and all concerns raised are reviewed and investigated in accordance with established procedures. These arrangements are supported by the Group’s whistleblowing mechanism, which provides an independent avenue for reporting serious misconduct.
