SUSTAINABILITY STATEMENT MEMBERSHIP IN ASSOCIATIONS We collaborate with industry players and government authorities to shape policy and uplift standards in key areas of focus, including Sustainability. Dagang Net Technologies Sdn Bhd is member of Pan-Asian eCommerce Alliance. The Pan-Asian E-Commerce Alliance is the first regional e-Commerce alliance in Asia that aims to promote and provide secure, trusted, reliable and value-adding IT infrastructure for cross-border data exchange for efficient global trade and logistics. SUSTAINABILITY ACROSS THE SUPPLY CHAIN In carrying out our business activities, we rely upon a trusted pool of more than 2,000 suppliers across 28 countries. Presently, more than 70 per cent of our total supplier base comprises Malaysian companies, in line with our efforts to recirculate value within the local economy. Cognisant of our responsibility to inculcate sustainable practices throughout our supply chain, we continuously monitor our suppliers’ practices in areas that are material to the Group’s ESG ambitions. We are also considering the implementation of Sustainability-linked selection criteria for suppliers in the future and train our suppliers in relevant ESG areas. During the year in review, our supply chain has evolved due to our acquisition of SilTerra and the increase in our stake in Ping Petroleum, thereby necessitating the procurement of suppliers that meet the input demands in these industries and, in the case of Ping Petroleum, that are located near its operations in the UK.
