Engaging in Community Support We recognise the pivotal role education plays in breaking the poverty lifecycle and unlocking opportunities for socioeconomic advancement. Through our social finance agenda, we strive to address socioeconomic disparities effectively. Our efforts include offering scholarships, providing financial aid to underprivileged families, and improving infrastructures to spur well-being of the underserved. These interventions aim to create a supportive and conducive environment for learning and empowerment. A. Sadaqa House Orphan Fund To uplift the lives of orphaned children by providing them with access to quality education, safe and nurturing environments, and opportunities to thrive within their communities. In 2023, our focus was on contributing positively through the Sadaqa House Orphan Fund. This initiative aimed to support orphaned children by providing educational assistance, improving infrastructure, and fostering community empowerment. Additionally, we have worked to promote a culture of empathy and support among our employees. Encouraging their involvement in our community initiatives, we facilitate connections with orphaned children through activities such as sponsoring outings and engaging in shared experiences. These efforts aim to provide not only financial support but also companionship and a sense of belonging to these children. Our efforts raised RM863,307, directly impacting 71 orphans through education sponsorships and five (5) institutions through infrastructure and welfare improvements.
