Through our iTEKAD micro-financing programmes, BangKIT and Maju, we target underbanked microentrepreneurs, equipping them with the tools they need to flourish. This comprehensive approach provides essential business assets, facilitates access to microfinance, and delivers thorough training programmes, fostering both financial literacy and a strong business foundation. Further amplifying our impact, the iTEKAD revolving fund fuels a continuous cycle of empowerment. Financing payments are reinvested in new entrepreneurs, maximising the reach and impact of every ringgit invested. 285 entrepreneurs have benefitted from our initiatives, supported by a significant disbursement of RM8,332,030 towards sustainable income generation. She strategically diversified her offerings and leveraged online platforms to mitigate the impact of the Movement Control Order on her newly established business. Ultimately, she identified the untapped potential of the jersey t-shirt market due to its broad appeal. Noor Hasnaa Kamilah firmly believed in the adage “where there’s a will, there’s a way.” This resilient spirit, cultivated from a young age growing up in an entrepreneurial family, proved invaluable. Bank Islam’s iTEKAD Maju programme provided the crucial support she needed to catalyse Omaf Apparel's success. It provided the necessary foundation for acquiring essential equipment and renovating the company's premises.
