Working experience and occupation

Mr. Ong has extensive experience in the property development industry, with strong expertise in finance, business development, sales, and marketing.

Prior to this, he was the Chief Executive Officer of Tropicana Corporation Berhad from December 2023 to March 2026, where he led key initiatives including de-gearing strategies, land monetisation, joint ventures, and foreign investment efforts.

He previously served as Chief Executive Officer of WCT Land Sdn Bhd, where he restructured the sales and marketing functions and implemented strategic plans to improve performance.

Mr. Ong also held senior roles at HCK Capital Group Bhd, Mah Sing Group Berhad (via Southville City Sdn Bhd), Putrajaya Holdings Sdn. Bhd., and UEM Sunrise Bhd, where he was involved in major development projects.
