Reference is made to the Company’s announcement dated 26 January 2025, as well as the updates provided through the Company’s quarterly announcements on 26 February 2025, 22 May 2025 and 25 August 2025.

The Board of Directors of YHB (“the Company”) wishes to announce that the insurance compensation for asset loss amounting to RM2,884,056.03, in relation to the fire incident that occurred at the factory premises of Yenher Agro, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Company, located at 1684, Jalan IKS Simpang Ampat 1, Taman IKS Simpang Ampat, 14100 Simpang Ampat, Penang on 25 January 2025 has been confirmed by the insurance company.

The insurance compensation will be paid in the following manner :-

(i) Immediate payment of RM2,455,166.41; and

(ii) Balance of RM428,889.62 will be paid subject to providing proof of expenditure on the replacement and reinstatement works to the insurance company. 

In the meantime, the Company is collating the relevant information and will in due course submit a claim for consequential loss once the claim sum has been ascertained, in order for the insurance company to process it accordingly.
