We refer to the earlier announcement dated 15 January 2025.

The Board of Directors of Fajarbaru Builder Group Bhd ("FBG" or the "Company") wishes to announce that the Company is proposing to change its name from "Fajarbaru Builder Group Bhd" to "FBG Holdings Berhad" ("Proposed Change of Name").

The proposed name "FBG Holdings Berhad" was approved by the Companies Commission of Malaysia ("CCM") and the reservation for the use of the proposed name is extended to 1 July 2025.  

The Proposed Change of Name is subject to the approval of the Company's shareholders at the forthcoming extraordinary general meeting to be convened ("EGM") at a date to be announced later. A circular to shareholders with details of the Proposed Change of Name will be issued to the shareholders in due course.

The Proposed Change of Name, if approved by the shareholders at the EGM, will take effect from the date of issuance of the Notice of Registration of New Name by the CCM to the Company.
