On behalf of the Board of Directors of JLG REIT Managers Sdn Bhd (formerly known as Damansara REIT Managers Sdn Berhad) (“JRMSB”), the manager of Al-`Aqar, KAF Investment Bank Berhad wishes to announce that Amanahraya Trustees Berhad (acting solely in its capacity as trustee for and behalf of Al-'Aqar) (“Trustee”), had on 27 March 2025 entered into the following agreements:
- Conditional sale and purchase agreement with Ampang Puteri Specialist Hospital Sdn Bhd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of KPJ Healthcare Berhad (“KPJ”) (“APSH”), in relation to a proposed acquisition of a new building forming part of KPJ Ampang Puteri Specialist Hospital (“KPJ Ampang Puteri New Building”) for a total cash consideration of RM131,000,000 (“Proposed Acquisition of KPJ Ampang Puteri New Building”) and a conditional lease agreement with APSH and JRMSB in relation to the proposed lease of the KPJ Ampang Puteri New Building; and
- Conditional sale and purchase agreement with Penang Specialist Hospital Sdn Bhd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of KPJ (“PNG”), in relation to a proposed acquisition of a new building forming part of KPJ Penang Specialist Hospital (“KPJ Penang New Building”) for a total cash consideration of RM110,000,000 (“Proposed Acquisition of KPJ Penang New Building”) and a conditional lease agreement with PNG and JRMSB in relation to the proposed lease of the KPJ Penang New Building.
The Trustee and JRMSB propose to enter into four (4) separate lease agreements with the companies of KPJ to renew the lease of the Lease Properties.
