The Board of Directors of Malaysia Marine and Heavy Engineering Holdings Berhad ("MHB") wishes to announce that its wholly-owned and major subsidiary, Malaysia Marine and Heavy Engineering Sdn Bhd ("MMHE"), has approved the resolution to commence a members' voluntary winding up and the appointments of Puan Haniza binti Sabaran and Cik Aryani binti Abd. Latiff as liquidators for its wholly-owned, dormant subsidiary, Techno Indah Sdn Bhd ("TISB") TISB effective on 14 October 2024.

TISB has ceased business operations, is currently dormant, and does not intend to carry on any future business or operations. The winding-up of TISB will enable MHB Group to streamline its operations and optimise resource utilisation.

The members' voluntary winding up of TISB is not expected to have any material impact on the net assets per share, earnings per share, or gearing of MHB for the financial year ending 31 December 2024.

None of the Directors, substantial shareholders of MHB, or persons connected with them have any direct or indirect interest in the members' voluntary winding up of TISB.
