BNASTRA - Notice of Bonus Entitlement

BINASTRA CORPORATION BERHAD

BONUS ISSUE OF 543,000,000 NEW ORDINARY SHARES IN BINASTRA CORPORATION BERHAD ("COMPANY") ("BONUS SHARES") ON THE BASIS OF ONE (1) BONUS SHARE FOR EVERY ONE (1) EXISTING ORDINARY SHARE IN THE COMPANY HELD AS AT 5.00 P.M. ON 11 JUNE 2024 ("BONUS ISSUE")

Kindly be advised of the following :

1) The above Company’s securities will be traded and quoted “[EX-BONUS ISSUE]” as from: 10 Jun 2024
2) The last date of lodgment : 11 Jun 2024
3) Retention Money: Where securities are not delivered in time for registration by the seller, then the brokers concerned:-        
          a) Selling Broker to deduct  1/2, of Selling Price against the Selling Client
          b) Buying Broker to deduct 50.0%, of Purchase Price against the Buying Client
          c) Between Broker and Broker, the deduction of 1/2, of the Transacted Price is applicable.

Remarks 1: 
Bursa Malaysia Securities Bhd would like to clarify that on the basis of settlement taking place after 11 Jun 2024 with bonus issue of BNASTRA shares, any shareholder who is entitled to receive BNASTRA bonus issue shares, may sell any or all of his BNASTRA shares arising from the bonus issue beginning the Ex-Date (10 Jun 2024).

For example, if Mr X purchases 100 BNASTRA shares on cum basis on 07 Jun 2024, Mr X should receive 100 shares on 11 Jun 2024. As a result of the bonus issue, an additional of 100 BNASTRA shares will be credited into Mr X's CDS account on the night of 11 Jun 2024 being the Book Closing Date. Therefore, Mr X can sell a total of 200 BNASTRA shares on or after the Ex-Date i.e. from 10 Jun 2024 onwards.

Remarks 2: 
The date of listing and quotation for the Bonus Shares on the Main Market of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad ("Bursa Securities") will be on 12 June 2024, being the next market day after the Entitlement Date. 

The Share Registrar of Binastra Corporation Berhad will issue and despatch the notices of allotment of the Bonus Shares to all entitled shareholders of Binastra Corporation Berhad not later than 4 market days after the date of the listing of and quotation for the Bonus Shares on the Main Market of Bursa Securities.
