Reference is made to the news articles entitled “MACC looking for man with ‘Datuk’ title to assist investigations” and “Has Sersol head honcho Justin Lim Hwa Tat gone into hiding?” which appeared on www.nst.com.my and focusmalaysia.my respectively on Wednesday, 12 July 2023.

The Company wishes to clarify that the Board and Management of SMTrack is also trying to locate our Executive Director, Datuk Wira Justin Lim Hwa Tat (“Datuk Wira Justin Lim”).

The Board wishes to state that, the Company has no knowledge or whatsoever pertaining to the investigation of Malaysia Anti-Corruption Commission (“MACC”) relating to Sersol Berhad (“Sersol”) in which Datuk Wira Justin Lim was the Managing Director of Sersol up to 15 June 2023, as well as:-

1. SMTrack and its subsidiaries (“SMTrack Group”) are not directly or indirectly involved in any business with Sersol Berhad whatsoever;

2. SMTrack Group’s business is as usual and there is no impact on the Group’s operations.

The Company will make the necessary announcements as and when there are further developments accordingly.
