PROPOSED ESTABLISHMENT OF AN EMPLOYEES' SHARES SCHEME ("PROPOSED ESS")

This announcement is dated 17 November 2022.

Reference is made to the Company’s earlier announcements dated 9 August 2022 (“Earlier Announcement”) and 18 August 2022 in relation to the Proposed ESS. Unless stated otherwise, abbreviations and definitions used throughout this announcement shall bear the same meaning as those defined in the Earlier Announcement.

On behalf of the Board, Malacca Securities wishes to announce that the Company has decided not to implement the Proposed ESS at this juncture. Accordingly, a request has been submitted to Bursa Securities on 17 November 2022 to withdraw the additional listing application pursuant to the Proposed ESS.
