We refer to the Company’s announcements dated 25 August 2020 and 26 August 2020 in relation to the Proposed Bonus Issue (“Announcements”). Unless otherwise defined, the definitions set out in the Announcements shall apply in this announcement.

On behalf of the Board, Affin Hwang IB wishes to announce that Bursa Securities has, vide its letter dated 27 August 2020, resolved to approve the listing of and quotation for 1,278,935,808 new Kossan Shares to be issued pursuant to the Proposed Bonus Issue.

The approval granted by Bursa Securities is subject to the following conditions:

1. Kossan and Affin Hwang IB must fully comply with the relevant provisions under the Listing Requirements pertaining to the implementation of the Proposed Bonus Issue;       
2. Affin Hwang IB to inform Bursa Securities upon the completion of the Proposed Bonus Issue;  
3. Affin Hwang IB to furnish Bursa Securities with a written confirmation of its compliance with the terms and conditions of Bursa Securities’ approval once the Proposed Bonus Issue is completed;
4. Kossan and Affin Hwang IB are required to make the relevant announcements pursuant to Paragraph 6.35(2)(a) & (b) and 6.35(4) of the Listing Requirements in relation to the Proposed Bonus Issue; and
5. Affin Hwang IB to furnish Bursa Securities with a certified true copy of the resolution passed by shareholders at an extraordinary general meeting for the Proposed Bonus Issue.
