Pursuant to Paragraph 10.09 of the Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad Listing Requirements ("Listing Requirement"), BIMB Holdings Berhad ("BHB" or “the Company") had at its 22nd Annual General Meeting ("AGM") held on 15 May 2019 obtained shareholders' approval to renew the Shareholders' Mandate for the Company and its subsidiaries to enter into recurrent related party transactions of a revenue or trading nature (“Shareholders’ Mandate”).

The Shareholders' Mandate shall, in accordance with the Listing Requirements, lapse at the conclusion of the Company's forthcoming AGM unless authority for its renewal is obtained from the shareholders of the Company at the AGM.

With reference to the above, the Board of Directors of BHB wishes to announce that the Company intends to seek its shareholders’ approval for the Proposal at the forthcoming AGM. The estimated aggregate value of the Recurrent Related Party Transactions as disclosed in the Circular to Shareholders dated 19 April 2019 was RM28.6 million. The actual transaction value for the year ended 31 December 2019 was RM28.1 million.

The Circular to Shareholders containing information on the Proposal will be sent to the shareholders of BHB in due course.
