Zetrix AI Berhad Annual Report 2025

RISING SOCIAL CONCERNS In Malaysia, rising concerns on labour and human rights have led to greater focus and scrutiny by Governments, investors and customers on the conduct of businesses regarding the fair treatment of workers. The wellbeing of foreign workers remains a major topic of discussion within the public sphere, with stakeholders calling for better protections to be accorded. Increasingly, the focus is not just on the conduct of the business but also extends to the performance of the business’s supply chains. RISK OPPORTUNITY The lack of oversight and concern by Zetrix AI‘s suppliers, vendors and contractors on labour and human rights may lead to violations, which could potentially impact the reputation of Zetrix AI and also lead to business and financial impacts for the Group. Increased focus by stakeholders, including stronger enforcement by authorities would provide increased requirements for improvement in workers’ housing, healthcare and other aspects. This provides opportunities for Zetrix AI to offer related services and facilities. Growing interest among businesses to deploy robotics and automation to reduce overdependence on foreign labour presents an opportunity for the Group’s robotics solutions. Growing consciousness about online security and safety among users also bodes well for the deployment of blockchain applications, which provide greater security and privacy protection vs conventional online services.
