SUSTAINABILITY STATEMENT MATERIALITY MATTERS (cont’d) Zetrix AI has also adopted the practice of sorting items upon the dismantling of sites in Klang Valley, its Head Office and other regional areas to determine which materials could be potentially reused or recycled instead of being labelled as waste. Reusable assets, including furniture and air-conditioning systems, are collected by the Internal Courier team and transferred to headquarters for refurbishment and redeployment. In parallel, the Group continuously reviews and enhances sustainability initiatives throughout the year to improve resource efficiency and support long-term environmental performance. Zetrix AI continues to track its food waste in the office, since food is one of the main sources in which these greenhouse gases are produced when they decompose. For instance, to minimise our food waste, we could install some food composting machines in the office in which a limited weight of food waste is permitted to be recycled. We also allocate bins for food waste since this is a similar concept to our recycling campaigns. Zetrix AI remains committed to expanding the Group’s recycling policy and procedures regarding recycling other types of waste, which will be developed and suitably implemented in the future when it is feasible to do so. These may include recovering and recycling equipment and materials related to the Group’s operations. The Group will continue to develop further policies that promote and cascade recycling of waste within the supply chain. E-WASTE As mentioned previously, Zetrix AI operates as a digital service provider, relying extensively on the latest technology and robust computer systems to deliver products and services to customers. The dynamic nature of the industry necessitates continuous upgrades to ensure customers receive the best possible experience. Consequently, the disposal of older technology equipment is a regular part of the Group’s operational cycle. Given that the improper disposal of these old electronic devices is typically linked to landfills, where hazardous components are at risk of leaking into the environment, Zetrix AI ensures a structured and responsible disposal of damaged/non-usable electrical and electronic items. For example, parts of an old computer can easily be reused in another appliance instead of being thrown away. The e-waste generated will be sold to a licensed e-waste recycling company. The appointed company has approval and a licence from the Department of Environment (Jabatan Alam Sekitar) for SW110 Waste, has obtained an International Organization for Standardization (ISO) Certificate, and has been audited by the government. From FY2023 to FY2025, we conducted the disposal of the following items to the recycling contractor: FY2023 FY2024 FY2025 Computer & Central Procession Unit (CPU) 78 233 301 Tablet 0 0 175 Accessories 79 348 463 Equipment 621 342 173 TOTAL 778 923 1,112 Zetrix AI may consider joining e-waste recycling weeks that are set up by the Department of Environment to further its participation in recycling e-waste. Future e-waste solutions will be considered by the Board. 118
