35 INTEGRATED ANNUAL REPORT 2026 SUSTAINABILITY PARTNERSHIPS AND ASSOCIATIONS We actively strengthen our sustainability agenda through meaningful partnerships and participation in industry associations. By collaborating with both international and regional bodies, we demonstrate our ongoing commitment to advancing environmental stewardship, driving positive social outcomes, and upholding the highest standards of responsible business conduct. WE SUPPORT VALUE CREATION AT YINSON | OUR SUSTAINABILITY POSITIONING Fostering a vibrant carbon market ecosystem Yinson continues to play a proactive role in shaping policy development to strengthen carbon market integrity, improve market access and accelerate decarbonisation pathways. As president of the Malaysia Carbon Market Association (“MCMA”), we support the development of policies and market infrastructure to ensure both compliance and voluntary carbon markets (VCM) contribute effectively and equitably towards Malaysia’s Net Zero 2050 goals. At the regional level, Yinson advocates for the ASEAN Common Carbon Framework, which aims to establish consistent standards and enable mutual recognition of methodologies across the region. Working alongside regional counterparts and policymakers, the ASEAN Common Carbon Framework seeks to enhance interoperability, unlock regional carbon project opportunities, and build confidence in high-integrity carbon credits. To advance international collaboration and practical market scaling, the MCMA also supported The Coalition to Grow Carbon Markets and contributed to COP30-related regional dialogues. These engagements help ensure ASEAN perspectives are reflected in the evolving global conversation on carbon market governance, integrity and financing, including the need for credible standards, strong monitoring, reporting and verification with clear pathways for market participation. Yinson continues to collaborate closely with the Malaysia Forest Fund (MFF) to support forest conservation efforts. Under this collaboration, we are exploring potential projects under the Forest Carbon Offset (“FCO”) and Forest Conservation Certificate (FCC) mechanisms. In addition, Yinson is part of the technical working group for the FCO Protocol, providing strategic and technical input to develop high-integrity guidelines for a domestic crediting system.
