01 | ABOUT NEXG 02 | OUR LEADERSHIP 03| OUR PERSPECTIVE 04 | SUSTAINABILITY 05 | GOVERNANCE 06 | FINANCIAL STATEMENTS 07 | OTHER INFORMATION ANNUAL REPORT 2026 OUR APPROACH OUR PROGRESS Safety governance at NexG is anchored by our Group-level Occupational Safety and Health (“OSH”) Policy, which sets the overall direction for health and safety across all operations. The policy applies to all employees, contractors, and visitors within our premises. At the subsidiary level, site-specific OSH Policies provide more targeted guidance tailored to the specific needs of each site. OSH is treated as a material topic at the Board level. Safety performance data, incident reports, and corrective actions are tabled at Board meetings, ensuring that safety accountability sits at the highest level of the organisation. On the ground, PJ223 and Meru facilities hold the ISO 45001:2018 Occupational Health and Safety Management System certification, affirming their adherence to internationally recognised safety standards. This is supported by the OSH Committee at the premises, which continues to oversee and drive safety governance across its operations, a responsibility that extends to both employees and contractors operating within its premises. Day-to-day safety readiness is maintained through our Emergency Response Teams ("ERT") at each premise, with members trained and equipped to coordinate prompt and effective responses to workplace incidents. Regular emergency drills, safety inspections, and briefings are conducted to maintain readiness. In FY2026, the Group’s ERT personnel attended fire safety training to sharpen their emergency response capabilities. A range of safety training and awareness programmes were also delivered throughout the year, equipping employees with the knowledge to manage safety risks within their specific work environments. In FY2026, we continued to enhance our safety framework at the subsidiary level. PJ223 facility introduced a new IMS Policy, broadening the scope of its safety governance. Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment and Risk Control ("HIRARC") exercises were also conducted at the Meru facility to identify, evaluate, and mitigate potential hazards. In FY2026, NexG’s operations remained in compliance with applicable local OSH laws, including OSHA 1994 and the Occupational Health (Amendment) Act 2022. The Group recorded thirty two (32) lost-time injury and zero (0) fatalities during the year. Sustainability STATEMENT (Cont’d) WHY IS THIS IMPORTANT? OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH Workplace safety is relevant to every organisation, regardless of industry. While NexG's operations are not classified as heavy industry and our inherent safety risks are relatively contained, lapses in safety management can result in injuries, operational disruptions, and reputational damage. Upholding strong safety practices ensures the well-being of everyone within our premises and reflects the duty of care we hold as a responsible employer. TRAINING & DEVELOPMENT (CONT'D) TALENT MANAGEMENT AND ENGAGEMENT (CONT'D) The reduction in training programmes and employee participation during FY2026 was mainly attributed to operational and organisational developments throughout the financial year. Changes in the Group’s organisational structure and business arrangements affected the planning and implementation of both internal training programmes and participation in external training courses. The phased relocation of the Group’s headquarters and subsidiaries also impacted the availability of training facilities, coordination efforts, and employees’ readiness to attend training programmes, resulting in temporary disruptions to the overall training schedule. Nevertheless, the Group remains committed to employee capability development and will continue to strengthen training initiatives for all the staff. 80
