In respect of long-outstanding audit observations of significance, the ARMC instructed the Corporate Assurance Department and Outsourced Internal Auditors to formally communicate with the relevant auditees to express the ARMC's concerns and to request timely resolution of outstanding audit issues. Reviewed and approved the Annual Internal Audit Plan of the Corporate Assurance Department for the working period of May 2025 to August 2025 and the Internal Audit Plan of the Outsourced Internal Auditors in respect of the financial year ended 31 March 2026, with emphasis on the audit scope, audit activities, adequacy of resources and coverage of auditable areas selected in accordance with a risk-based audit approach. The key audit assignments planned for FY2025/2026 covered the following areas: Reviewed and published the annual report of the Company and of the Group encompassing all relevant corporate governance disclosure statements and required documentation as set out in Part A of Appendix 9C of the MMLR. Reviewed, with the assistance of the Corporate Assurance Department on a quarterly basis, instances of any related party transactions for compliance with Bursa Malaysia Listing Requirements and internal procedures. Discussed and noted updates of new standards and regulatory requirements issued by regulatory, statutory and professional bodies, and relevant business developments published by the media considered to be of interest to the ARMC and the Board.
