NexG operates in a digital landscape where data security is paramount. As a trusted provider of critical solutions for government agencies and financial institutions, we acknowledge the responsibility we hold in safeguarding sensitive information. Any breach could have dire consequences, including identity theft and the loss of confidential data. Therefore, securing data privacy and maintaining the highest standards of product safety and quality are fundamental to our resolve to sustainability and our customers’ trust. OUR APPROACH Data Privacy & Security The resilience of NexG’s operations depends on the strength and reliability of our ICT infrastructure. Our cybersecurity efforts are ongoing and integrated across the Group. This includes strengthening access controls, firewall protections, and cybersecurity protocols to safeguard information from unauthorised access, misuse, or potential breaches. We also carry out IT security audits, vulnerability assessments, and employee training as part of the Group’s initiatives. As a trusted technology partner, we manage large volumes of sensitive customer information. Protecting the privacy and security of this data is a core responsibility. We adhere to relevant laws and regulatory standards, including the Personal Data Protection Act 2010, and work to enhance our systems to defend against evolving cyber threats. These efforts are essential to preserving stakeholder trust and safeguarding the Group’s reputation. We recognise that innovation is key to staying competitive — but not at the cost of safety. Our commitment to data protection is embedded at every stage of the product and system lifecycle, ensuring that progress is always built on a foundation of security. Product Lifecycle Product Safety & Quality Product safety and quality lay the foundation for how we operate and build trust with our customers. Our commitment is supported by ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System (“QMS”), which drives consistency and continuous improvement. In FY2025, our product safety and quality initiatives include: • DCSB: DCSB established a dedicated Risk Unit to carry out risk assessments. This was complemented by staff awareness programmes and scheduled preventive maintenance of machinery. Regular tool and device calibration was also conducted to uphold product quality and operational precision. • DMSB: Strengthened product quality control measures to ensure consistent standards through in-process testing. • DTSB: Ongoing safety and quality measures include: - Products feature tamper-resistant, anti-counterfeiting elements, with a focus on durability and wear resistance. - Finished goods are stored in a strong room under 24-hour closed-circuit television (“CCTV”) monitoring to protect product integrity. - Deliveries are conducted under strict protocols, including armed escorts, GPS-enabled vehicles with fully enclosed, metal-lined storage compartments, and access controls separating the cargo area from the driver’s cab. - Compliance with ICAO Document 9303 standards for Machine Readable Travel Documents (“MRTDs”) reinforces international reliability. - Components comply with the Restriction of Hazardous Substances (“RoHS”) directives, which restrict the use of harmful substances to ensure safe use by consumers.
