ANNUAL REPORT 2025 SUSTAINABILITY Sustainability Statement (Cont’d) 70 OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH (CONT’D) NexG is committed to continuous improvement in OSH performance. Key targets in FY2026 include:- DMSB DTSB DCSB Achieve and maintain zero accident status, in line with ISO targets. Meet ISO targets, including achieving zero pollution and spillage, ensuring contractor EMS awareness and compliance, and maintaining zero LTI and fatality rates. To organise staff training and awareness initiatives to operationalise new safety standards. OUR PROGRESS In FY2025, NexG’s operations were in compliance with relevant local OSH laws, including Occupational Safety and Health Act 1994 (“OSHA 1994”) and the Occupational Health (Amendment) Act 2022. This year, we expanded our OSH performance reporting to include three (3) of NexG’s subsidiaries (DMSB, DTSB, DCSB). In contrast, OSH data for FY2023 and FY2024 were limited to DMSB only. This broader coverage contributed to the increase in several recorded indicators, as shown in the table below. A total of four (4) lost-time injuries (“LTI”) were recorded in FY2025, all involving employees. Each case was investigated to determine root causes and inform corrective actions. Despite this, we maintained our track record of zero (0) fatalities in FY2025. Our LTI Frequency Rate (“LTIFR”) improved significantly, dropping to 7.73 in FY2025 from 24.52 in FY2023, reflecting better safety risk controls even as coverage expanded. The number of workplace inspections doubled in FY2025 due to the broader disclosure scope. Meanwhile, the number of safety programmes and training sessions increased to 19, with 443 employees trained. This improvement is consistent with our focus on embedding a stronger safety culture across all operations.
