ANNUAL REPORT 2025 SUSTAINABILITY Sustainability Statement (Cont’d) 64 HUMAN RIGHTS & LABOUR PRACTICES (CONT’D) While labour-related risk assessments were not conducted for existing or prospective suppliers in FY2025, we recognise the importance of strengthening due diligence across our supply chain. We are currently reviewing our governance processes to enhance oversight in this area. Labour Standard NexG’s Approach Humane Treatment NexG is committed to treating all employees with dignity and respect. We oppose all forms of harassment, abuse, intimidation and inhumane treatment. This includes sexual harassment, corporal punishment and verbal abuse. Managers are trained to handle reports of bullying or harassment. Prevention of Child Labour NexG does not hire underaged workers. The employment of children under the age of 18 is strictly prohibited at NexG. We abide by local and international regulations against any form of child labour, including the Employment Act 1955, and the Children and Young Persons (Employment) Act 1966. Prevention of Forced Labour NexG prohibits all forms of forced, compulsory, or involuntary labour. Employment is freely chosen, with employees free to leave after providing reasonable notice. We uphold a commitment against coerced work within our organisation and throughout our supply chain, in compliance with the Employment Act 1955. Working Hours We operate in line with statutory requirements relating to working hours and overtime. Our practices adhere to the 45-hour workweek limit stipulated under the Employment Act (Amendment) 2022. Flexible working arrangements are encouraged to promote work-life balance. Working hours policies are outlined in the Employee Handbook. Wages and Benefits NexG complies with the Minimum Wage Order 2024, ensuring that fair wages and statutory benefits are provided to all employees. We conduct annual reviews to ensure they remain competitive within prevailing market conditions. Non-Discrimination and Equal Opportunities The Group champions equal employment opportunities with recruitment, promotion and employment practices based on merit and relevant experience, with no discrimination. Health and Safety Occupational safety is governed by the Occupational Safety and Health Act 1994 and reinforced internally via our OSH Policy. NexG implements preventive safety measures and delivers rolespecific training to reduce risk and ensure a secure, healthy work setting. Youth Employment NexG supports youth employment through participation in the Professional Training and Education for Growing Entrepreneurs - Ready-To-Work (“PROTÉGÉ-RTW”) under HRD Corp initiatives, offering practical work experience to fresh graduates. Guidelines on employment practices are supported through internal human resources procedures and referenced in the Employee Handbook. Grievance Mechanism NexG upholds a culture of transparency by providing accessible grievance channels. This framework empowers employees to raise issues or concerns, with assurance that every matter will be taken seriously and addressed efficiently. The grievance process is outlined in the Employee Handbook.
