While neither resulted in regulatory penalties or long-term impact, both were treated seriously and addressed through immediate corrective actions and system improvements. At our manufacturing facility in Klang, a tank containing scheduled liquid waste was found to be at risk of overflowing. The issue was identified early and contained before any environmental impact occurred. As a preventive measure, the management approved the installation of a water-level detector alarm. The waste management team was also instructed to change the tank proactively once it reaches this threshold moving forward. At DTSB’s premises, a small leak involving scheduled waste was also detected. In response, the team introduced immediate containment measures and initiated a long-term improvement plan. This includes relocating the tank and changing the method of waste collection. Water Consumption Water use at NexG remains relatively modest and primarily supports domestic and operational needs.
