ANNUAL REPORT 2025 SUSTAINABILITY Sustainability Statement (Cont’d) 43 Reporting Scope and Boundaries This Sustainability Statement FY2025 (“SS2025”) presents data for the period from 1 April 2024 to 31 March 2025, consistent with NexG’s financial reporting period. Where applicable, the Group has included relevant data spanning three years (FY2023 - FY2025). The statement’s scope covers NexG and its key subsidiaries as outlined below. These include operations at our manufacturing and personalisation facilities, as well as other project sites, unless stated otherwise. (“DCSB”) Personalisation of smart cards • Regional Personalisation Solution (“RPS”) centre in Petaling Jaya (“RPS Centre”) Reporting Guidelines and Frameworks Referenced The SS2025 has been developed in accordance with Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad’s (“Bursa Securities”) Main Market Listing Requirements (“Listing Requirements”) with reference to the Bursa Securities’ Sustainability Reporting Guide (3rd Edition). Other frameworks and guidelines taken into consideration include: Bursa Securities’ Common Sustainability Matters; FTSE4Good Bursa Malaysia Index’s Environmental, Social and Governance (“ESG”) indicators; United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (“UN SDGs”); and ISO 26000:2010 Guidance on Social Responsibility. Statement of Assurance The SS2025 has been reviewed and approved by NexG’s Board of Directors (the “Board”) on 28 May 2025. Information and data disclosed in the SS2025 have been verified for accuracy by respective data owners and subsidiaries within the Group. This year, our internal audit function commenced limited internal assurance to enhance the integrity and reliability of our disclosures, covering three selected common sustainability indicators as outlined below. We aim to expand the scope of assurance in future reporting cycles and will consider the need for external assurance.
