SIGNIFICANT EVENTS DURING THE FINANCIAL YEAR (CONT’D) (j) On 3 July 2024, the Company entered into a Collaboration Agreement with Credit Bureau Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. (“CBM”) to offer a self-check service for individual credit reports with CBM via CBM’s MySCoRE that will be made accessible through the MYEG portal. This will be facilitated by integrating CBM’s MySCoRE on the MYEG portal, offering users an additional avenue to easily and conveniently access and review their credit reports and scores. The Company continues to expand its suite of digital services, providing users with consolidated access to important financial/credit information on one platform. (k) The Company announced that the ZTrade is expanding its scope of coverage to encompass the digital verification of Certificates of Origin issued by the General Administration of Customs of the People’s Republic of China. (l) On 16 July 2024, MYELM entered into a sale and purchase agreement with Johor Corporation (“JCorp”) for the acquisition of the Mukim of Jalan Bakri, District of Muar, Johor Darul Tazim (“the Plot”) at a consideration of RM12,982,500. (m) On 19 July 2024, MYEL entered into a MOU with JCorp will no longer subsist as MYELM entered into a SPA with JCorp for the acquisition of the Plot for a purchase consideration of RM12,982,500. (n) On 16 August 2024, the Company announced that the issue price for the new shares to be issued under the DRP in respect of the final single-tier dividend of 1.68 sen per ordinary share for the financial year ended 31 December 2023 had been fixed at RM0.88 per share. (o) On 16 August 2024, the Company entered into a collaboration with MIMOS Berhad, Worldcoin Foundation and Tools for Humanity (“TFH”) to revolutionise Malaysia’s Blockchain Infrastructure and Digital Ecosystem. (p) On 19 August 2024, CIMB announced on behalf of the Company that an application to Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad in relation to the additional listing of and quotation for the new ordinary shares to be issued under the DRP Share Issuance has been submitted. (q) On 21 August 2024, CIMB announced on behalf the Company that the Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad has approved the listing of and quotation for up to 142,400,151 newshares to be issued under the DRP in respect of the final single-tier dividend of 1.68 sen per ordinary share for the financial year ended 31 December 2023. (r) On 6 September 2024, the Company entered into a Heads of Agreement with East Logistics Link Co., Ltd. (“ELLC”) for the collaboration to jointly work exclusively with respect to securing and operating of the Royal Malaysian Customs Department’s Single Window project. (s) On 17 September 2024, the Company entered into a MOU with Federation of Malaysian Freight Forwarders (“FMFF”), intend to advance and implement ZTrade, a blockchain based trade document system, as the National Single Window initiative for Malaysia. (t) On 25 September 2024, CIMB announced on behalf of the Company that the Company allotted and issued 71,647,188 new shares under DRP in respect of the final single-tier dividend of 1.68 sen per ordinary share for the financial year ended 31 December 2023. (u) On 3 October 2024, Zetrix, a layer-1 public blockchain platform, launched a first-of-its-kind application facility that enables official national identities of Chinese nationals to be authenticated and verified digitally overseas, paving the way for a seamless, efficient and secure verification process for verified and identity holders.
