This offers a motivating factor for completing training and also builds healthy competition. For example, employees could earn badges for training completed or an online board of top performers could be displayed for the company. Awards and recognition could also be tangible. Employees could earn an extra personal day or receive a gift card. Whatever the vehicle is, the end goal is to recognize employees who go the extra mile during the training process. On going lunch and learn event is an opportunity for employees from different teams to meet and share their skills and expertise. Lunch and learns offer a sociable, collaborative alternative to traditional “top-down” or classroom-based learning. This makes them a great way to foster a culture of learning and knowledge sharing in the organisation. This can encourage teamwork and cooperation, and help to break down silos. A method of learning that combines online training materials with in-person learning that engages learners in new and unique ways. With blended learning, learners can learn at their own pace and attend in-person training sessions to receive face-toface instruction.
