By determining the skills and knowledge required, the Group can identify any skills gaps and assign proper training. These assessments are done through surveys, interviews, or observations, and in order to identify any gaps between the skills and knowledge that employees currently have and what’s required to perform their tasks effectively. Interviews are most likely based on frequent conversations between an interviewer and the employee which can provide valuable data on the employee’s understanding of their role and performance concerning KPIs established for their position. Focus Group Group interviews conducted by a leader aimed to encourage the participants to interact to obtain data on the training needs detected by themselves. They also tend to reveal any information that provides insight into where employees currently stand regarding the company’s objectives.
