73 ANNUAL REPORT 2023 MST GOLF GROUP BERHAD GOING FORWARD We will continue prioritising proper waste management as we integrate more circular practices into our business. To step up efforts, we aim to establish short-, mid- and long-term landfill waste reduction targets and plans. Recognising limited waste data in 2023, we aim to enhance data collection in 2024, setting it as the baseline year and widening the scope to include more business units and premises. Additionally, we plan to conduct more comprehensive waste audits and implement circular waste management practices and initiatives in collaboration with suppliers and service providers to achieve reduction goals. To further advocate effective waste management, we will continue to build awareness, provide training and engage with stakeholders to promote circular practices. We also aim to collaborate with more environmental organisations and roll out circular waste initiatives like campaigns and clean-ups. In 2023, we collected a total of 3,358.2 kgs of used cooking oil across three MST Golf Arena outlets for recycling and sold it to used cooking oil recyclers for repurposing.
