71 ANNUAL REPORT 2023 MST GOLF GROUP BERHAD OUR INITIATIVES In 2023, we focused our waste management efforts on staff engagement and waste sorting, with the gradual integration of circular waste management practices throughout our operations. Before educating external stakeholders on waste management, we recognise the importance of first educating our employees to cultivate a culture of efficient waste management and reduction, including circular waste practices. In this regard, we provided company-wide training on proper waste management to educate employees on waste issues and circular waste management approaches rooted in the 7Rs. In 2023, the training was attended by 596 of 91% of employees. We also held a month-long company-wide Proper Waste Management campaign focusing on the 7Rs, sharing tips and knowledge with employees to efficiently manage their waste and demonstrate their waste management practices at work and home.
