SECTION 2: OUR STRATEGIC CONTEXT 66 OUR INITIATIVES Addressing greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions through our business lens was new for us in 2023. This year, we focused on establishing the right internal foundation to begin our GHG emissions reduction journey. Our efforts included introducing a Sustainability Policy and Environmental Policy to guide our approach, which can be viewed on our corporate website. We also conducted company-wide employee training to raise awareness on sustainability and GHG emissions-related topics. We started measuring our Scope 1, 2 and 3 GHG emissions, including CO2, CH4 and N2O, and established 2023 as our baseline year. We also adopted an operational control consolidation approach, including operations where MST Golf has full authority in terms of operating policies. As this is our first year measuring emissions, we acknowledge potential data limitations and inconsistencies to be improved in the future. The following infographic explains the context of our Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions. Scope 1 In 2023, we successfully calculated our Scope 1 emissions using the total fuel used in our company-owned vehicles and cooking activities in our MST Golf Arena outlets. Our Scope 1 emissions for 2023 are as below: Scope 1 Emissions 2023 (Baseline Year) (tCO2eq) Gross direct (Scope 1) GHG emissions (CO2) 104.9 Note: Calculations are based on the GHG Protocol and Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), Fourth Assessment Report (AR4), 2007. Our emissions are calculated using the calculation tool https://carbongpt.ai/ Direct GHG emissions from sources that are controlled or owned by MST Golf Scope 1 Indirect GHG emissions associated with the purchase of electricity Scope 2 Indirect GHG emissions as a result of activities from assets not owned or controlled by MST Golf Scope 3 SUSTAINABILITY STATEMENT
