SECTION 2: OUR STRATEGIC CONTEXT 52 OUR INITIATIVES In 2023, we started extending our sustainability practices beyond our head office by involving our retail front. Although our retail operations may not directly reflect visible sustainable impacts from the start, we are increasing our education and training frequency for our retail employees to instil the right mindset, priorities and leadership to accelerate our momentum moving forward. In 2023, we organised sustainability training sessions to build a better understanding of sustainable practices among our retail staff, who also serve as our frontliners. Our Group’s head of sustainability personally conducted these training sessions to communicate the Group’s sustainability approach and ensure effective implementation. The training covered various aspects of sustainability, including climate change awareness, sustainability principles and MST Golf’s sustainability matters. of our retail staff completed sustainability training at MST Golf, enabling them to promote sustainability in their work. 95% 1 Building Sustainability Capability Other notable training involved Proper Waste Management, which entailed education on circular waste management practices through the 7Rs of Rethink, Refuse, Reduce, Reuse, Refill, Recycle and Rot. As part of our priority to promote corporate governance and occupational safety and health, we have implemented employee orientation sessions to train new and existing retail staff on governance and safety topics.
