The NC systematically evaluates the Board’s training needs, implementing a well-structured programme for continuous education and information dissemination. Regular updates on corporate governance standards, regulatory frameworks and accounting matters are provided to ensure Directors stay informed about key developments. The Group’s company secretary, in collaboration with the Executive Chairman, consistently identifies broader areas for Board training, engaging with individual Directors to address their specific needs. The NC remains dedicated to recommending necessary training and development initiatives, aiming to enhance the overall effectiveness of the Board. The NC plays a pivotal role in formalising the procedure for appointing new Directors to the Board. Tasked with leading the succession planning process, the NC takes a strategic approach, recommending individuals with the requisite skills to support the Group’s goals.
